Pray for peace

Mother Nature seems a bit pissed off atm… Not just here in America but just about everywhere – 

👉United States: Flooding and severe storms have impacted the Northeast, with flash flooding in New York and New Jersey, and devastating floods in Texas. Wildfires have also been a concern in California. 

👉Japan: Deadly floods have occurred in central Japan. 

👉Africa: Flooding has been reported in several countries, including Chad, Morocco, Algeria, Tanzania, and Kenya. 

👉Asia: Typhoon Yagi caused significant damage in Asia, and Southern China has been devastated by deadly floods. 

👉Central Europe: Storm “Boris” caused widespread damage. 

👉Papua New Guinea: A landslide flattened a remote village, killing hundreds. 

👉Taiwan: A massive earthquake caused casualties and trapped mine workers. 

👉Hawaii: Kilauea, a Hawaiian volcano, has erupted dozens of times in the last 28 days.
👉 Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki erupted again July 7, sending an ash plume 11 miles into the atmosphere.😬
👉Mount Etna in Italy recently erupted
👉Mount Rainer in Washington State has seen dozens of seismic swarms over the past week

👉Panama: A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the Pacific.  

These are just some of the recorded natural disasters that the Earth has been experiencing over the past few weeks.

According to quantum physics, everything in the world – and the universe at large – is connected.✨

We are all microorganisms in a larger macroorganism, much like individual cells in a human body. Or perhaps, we are more like the bacteria residing in a human body; a population even greater than human cells. 

Given all of the negativity in the world right now, it makes perfect sense that our physical environment would be a reflection of the stress, strife and unrest that so many are experiencing.   

If the negative emotions that we hold in our magnetic field are projected into the unified field, perhaps the mass of anxiety and strife is contributing to the upheaval of the Earth. 

If this is true,  we should also be able to influence the Field positively – to set our differences aside, allow our anxieties and hostilities take a backseat, and focus on the positive.  On healing ourselves and the planet.  On building a better future for ourselves and future generations.✨

Skeptical?🤔

Here’s something to consider➡️

In 1993, a three-week experiment was held where 4000 participants gathered to pray and meditate in Washington DC; at that time the most crime-riddled place in the nation.  (I can attest to this – I lived in DC for several years at that time, and though I absolutely loved it, there were areas where I would not have gone for fear of being shot on the spot).  

The Maharishi Effect in action

The intention of this experiment was to significantly reduce stress and increase coherence(peace), lowering the crime rate in our nations’ capital. 

👉 A 27 member project review board monitored the experiment and weekly crime data gathered from the DC police department.  

👉 During this time, crime decreased by nearly 25%!  The decrease could not be attributed to outside factors such as weather, additional police staffing, etc.  

👉 the probability of this drastic of a decrease happening by chance was estimated to be impossibly low –  (p < 2 x 10-9 )!

This experiment became known as the “Maharishi effect”.  

There are hundreds of other examples of how we influence our environment every day – most of us have had the experience of thinking about somebody and then they call or text, or we meet them at some random and unexpected place.  We have a song in our heads and turn on the radio to find it playing.   We need healing and it happens.  Or we are desperately in need of something; be it money, health, a partner, or just a kind word, and it shows up in a way that feels like a miracle.  Like prayer answered.  And it is.  

✨In most world religions, it is called Prayer.

✨To the spiritualists, it is manifestation. 

✨To the Wiccans, it is spellcraft.  (Spelling=magic✨)

✨In spiritual philosophy, it is coherence with All That Is.

✨In quantum physics, it’s vibrational alignment.

How are you “spelling” your reality?

At the root of our belief systems, it’s all the same, regardless of language, belief system, or philosophy.  We are in constant communication with everything that is, or God/Allah/Shiva/Goddess/Unified Field, etc.  As my favorite “guru” Wayne Dyer once said: 

Our futures are formed by the thoughts we hold most often. We literally become what we think about, and we are all given the gift of being able to write our own story.

✨We can change our story, individually and collectively.  

✨We can make the earth a place that we all want to live in. 

✨We do not have to accept as norm the destruction or downfall of our civilization and the strife, upheaval, divisiveness and warfare we are currently experiencing throughout the world.  

Here’s how we can change things, from the inside out: 

✅Start with gratitude. Before you fall asleep and when you wake each morning, take a few moments to acknowledge all of the good in your life.  This not only projects into a magnetic field, but also sets our neurobiology to release happy chemicals such as dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin, rather than stress hormones. (cortisol, adrenaline, norepinephrine) 

✅Request good in your life.  Every spiritual tradition has the equivalent of “Ask and ye shall receive.”  It works. 

✅ Focus on the good.  Spending too much time focusing on the negativity of the past and present, or holding anxiety for the future only decreases our personal power.  Perhaps one of the reasons why there’s so much focus on it in the media; a term called hijacking the amygdala.  The amygdala is the area of the brain responsible for emotional regulation.  When we are in a place of stress or fear, the amygdala overrides the rational thought and decision-making part of the brain; the prefrontal cortex.  This can create a vicious cycle of stress and anxiety.

✅ Reset – when you’re feeling stressed, anxious, or dysregulated, your amygdala is likely in control of your emotions.  Take a moment to center.  Breathe deeply into your lungs and diaphragm.  Hold for a few seconds followed by a slow exhale. Put your mind’s focus on your heart rather than your head.  This resets the parasympathetic nervous system from flight or flight into rest and create.  👉You can also use havening or anchoring techniques to create greater peace and calm – cross the arms and gently stroke down the length of the arms from shoulder to fingertip.  Alternatively, gently stroke the tops of the thighs.  Feel into your body and really notice the sights, sounds, and feel of the body and environment of your immediate vicinity.👈

✅Connect.  Spend time with others who make you feel good and raise your vibrational frequency. Hug often. Physical touch not only increases serotonin and oxytocin (the “love hormone”) but lowers stress hormones, increases immunity, and just makes us feel good.🥰

✅ Spend time outdoors.  Henry David Thereau said “We need the tonic of the wilderness.”   The disconnection from our natural world and into one of rampant technological use is one of the reasons why we are becoming more sick and unhappy as a population.   Being outside reminds us of the beauty of our natural world, but it also exposes us to negative ions, which increases positivity and immune function, decreases stress, increases cognitive function and creativity and can even prevent disease.  

✅Empower yourself.  We have all heard the adage “knowledge is power”.  Pay attention to what is happening in the world, but don’t involve yourself emotionally to avoid the “amygdalic hijacking” I referenced earlier. (Stay frosty😉) 

  • 📰 If you wish to be involved, crossreference everything! Truth has become more and more subjective and even that which should be true must be questioned with the advent of AI, deepfake technology, and increasingly sophisticated psyops employed by governments, tech giants and individuals looking to influence the population to one particular mindset.  
  • Look to your values.  Whether it is a personal relationship, spiritual leader or political figure, the people you spend the most time with should be a reflection of your personal value system.  If you are seriously questioning the alignment of your values with someone else, there is probably not only an energy drain but a potential future disaster. 
  • 🥋As a martial arts instructor and longtime practitioner, I highly recommend at least rudimentary self-defense classes as an excellent way to gain confidence, a deeper sense of personal empowerment and self knowledge.  I also teach and practice yoga and can not recommend it highly enough for the deep sense of calm and connection it creates in the mind and body. 
  • 🖌️🎨Self expression through any form of art – painting, sculpture, dance, writing, cooking, fashion, etc., is an excellent way to not only create greater authenticity and self empowerment, but also can dramatically escalate the level of joy we feel on a daily basis.
  • Power Pose! Tune in to your stance and walk.  How are you resting in your body?  Are your shoulders hunched and back curved, decreasing range of motion and putting you into “prey” mode?  Or is your spine long, shoulders back and head high; all signs of confidence, strength and power? If you are needing an extra dose of confidence, try taking a Wonder Woman/Superman pose – back straight, feet wide and hands on hips.  Studies have shown this to reduce stress and improve cognition and new research indicates decreased cortisol and an increase in levels of testosterone when we “step into our superhero”.  Here’s another interesting fact – our primitive brain does not know the difference between reality and what we create in our minds, see on a screen or dream up on ChatGPT.   A fun tool is to use  AI to create a superhero image of yourself and put it somewhere you can see it daily to remind yourself of how amazing and powerful you are, and to begin to rewire your neurocircuitry to build a more confident, radiant version of yourself.  Here’s one that ChatGPT built for me using one of my favorite photos:

Cool, right?  Here’s the prompt I used: “Please create an image of me, using my photo, as a superhero in a classic hands-on-hips pose.  My chest emblem should be a heart with a sunburst radiating outwards.”  And I’d say AI absolutely nailed it! I’m thinking I might use it as a future book cover…😉

Ingredients for a decadent life

If our thoughts produce emotions and emotions are resonance – and resonance/vibration is the language of the universe, what language are you speaking to Source?  

When we ask for the outflow of our best possible life from a place of lack, anger, fear or other negative emotional states, it is impossible for Source to grant that reality because Good can’t be created from the building blocks of lack.  

It’s like asking your mom to bake a decadent chocolate cake when all you supply her with is white flour.  👩‍🍳🧁🤷‍♀️

This might seem like a simplified metaphor but the idea is exactly the same.  Good out, better back.  

If you aren’t sure of how to create your highest vibe, start with gratitude – but don’t just list out those things you value.  

What’s really important is that you practice feeling the joy of those things.  From that place of higher resonance you can begin the process of  co-creating the life of your dreams.

The next step is to look at the deeper held beliefs that might be holding you back or creating blocks to your best reality. 

It’s estimated that a whopping 70-80% of us experience childhood abuse or trauma that greatly contribute to a negative subconscious state of mind.

What are the subconscious programs of lack of worth and value that may have been running since childhood that contradict what you want to experience in real time? 

Here are some questions that can help you to understand whether or not you are asking for chocolate cake but putting out white refined flour, borrowed from Greg Baden’s book “The Spontaneous Healing of Belief”:

These questions target the heart of what we believe we deserve.  

In the book, the author goes on to speak of the “Great Question” as our fundamental belief in the contrast of good and evil (good loves us, evil wants our destruction) in the world or the idea that there is One Source (that has our best interest at heart) from which everything stems.  

A very interesting question indeed, but regardless of which side of the fence you might stand on, I believe that realizing your essential sense of value and worth is 💯 crucial to the co-creation of an amazing, magical reality.  

What you resonate, you draw to you. 

Let me repeat that in a different way because this is the most important fundamental law of the universe:

What you vibrate, you create. 

This is true of attracting money, a mate, the car of your dreams or a rusted out hulk, a home, health and vibrancy or illness and fatigue… and everything else under the sun.  

Let’s say “Josh” wishes to manifest his dream career opening a travel agency but those inner voices (subconscious programs) tell him that it is safer to stay in the soul-sucking corporate job he’s been at for the last ten years, or that he will surely fail if he tries something different.  Or maybe he doesn’t deserve to have a career that makes him happy and makes good money too.  

Sad, right? 🥺

 What do you think the odds are that Josh will ever see his dream become a reality?  Probably pretty low unless he begins to re-write those programs to create a better reality.  

We can take the same formula to everything in our lives.  What partners do we tend to attract over and over?  (What did your parents, family and social groups teach you that you deserved?) 

How many times have we failed at our diet or getting in shape?  (Do you really see yourself as you want to be?) 

I know it might be painful to look at these lessons, babe.  Change is rarely easy and often hard AF.  But believe me, so very worth it.  

You are worth it. ✨

Affirmations, vision boards, mantra and meditation are all great ways to begin overwriting those patterns of lack.  Therapy can be pretty amazing, too.🥰

For now, if you haven’t begun a daily gratitude practice, it’s a perfect place to start getting yourself into that higher vibrational state, and there’s no better time than the present to begin.💫

Today I am grateful for so many things – a lovely sunset stroll with a good friend, cold drinks and live music on a Saturday night, good coffee, an amazing meditation and relaxed morning, my happy pups…but family and friends top my list.

Meditation, Visualization, Feeling into the Space of New Creation

Hello, beautiful;

What is the emotion you currently experience most right now?  

If you are feeling stuck in old patterns of being that you can see but can’t seem to change, this one question can lead you to the answer as to why you may be in the mud instead of on the mountaintop.

If your answer is that the primary emotional state you experience is in any negative emotion such as anger, resentment, anxiety, sadness or frustration, this is exactly what is keeping you where you are rather than where you want to be.

We can not create a positive life from a negative state of mind.  This isn’t just a cute saying – this is science.  Here are a few of the negative consequences to the body and mind when we are habituated to negativity:

  1. The brain signals the body to produce neurochemicals such as cortisol and adrenaline. These are 💯 necessary for short-term flight-or-fight situations, but when they are circulating in our system long term, they can wreak havoc on our immune system, cardiovascular and neurological function. Long term stress can also trigger DNA markers for genetic disease and shorten telomeres; markers for aging and health, making us old far before our time.
  2. Stress hormones and chemicals can literally become an addiction . When we allow stress to become habitual we learn to depend on the hit of adrenaline and cortisol every time we create drama or stress for ourselves.
  3. Our magnetic field becomes smaller as we draw from it to sustain the increase in stress on our physical functions, decreasing our energy and vitality.
  4. We carry information on our physical and emotional state in our bodies, minds and magnetic field. This information is transmitted to those around us as well as into the quantum field, and remember that what we transmit, we also receive, creating a cycle of lack and unhappiness.

Obviously, none of us want to be creating more unhappiness for ourselves, right?  Though our subconscious programming might be preventing it, ultimately, most of us want to be happy.  

We were born to be creators. And who wouldn’t rather create a life of vitality, beauty and meaning versus one of dis-ease, unhappiness and lack?

If you can recognize that you are in a chronically negative state, you should be able to begin pruning those neural networks that are no longer serving your highest self to begin creating new networks and neurological programs that reflect the reality you wish to see.

An essential aspect of pruning old neural networks and building a new, healthier mindset is training your body’s biology to reflect the emotional reality you want to create.  Our bodies are capable of creating thousands of chemicals that can be used for healing and happiness – or for sickness, anxiety and depression. 

You are capable of moving mountains and creating any reality you can imagine, but in order to get there you must first overcome those pre-set blocks that might be keeping you from living your best life.  

What are you trying to manifest in your life right now? Greater abundance?  A limitless mind? Healing of sickness – or just an optimally functioning body?  An amazing relationship? The career of your dreams? 

Here is the #1 key to training the mind and body to move past those barriers, build new neural networks and step into greater abundance, health, relationship – into living a life of beauty and meaning:  

You have to feel it.

Now your first response to this might be “well duh, genius. We’ve talked about this before. Obviously we need to feel good to create good, right?” 🤔

But the truth is, it’s easier said than done.

 It requires us to look within to find those blocks that we might not even realize are there, keeping us from the life that we desire.  

It requires us taking accountability for the life we have created to this point, which can be deeply painful – and then we have to begin rebuilding ourselves to reflect something new. Which can also be difficult – but also incredibly rewarding.

If you are unsure of what blocks might be holding you back, here is a tool that will help you on your journey: a Visualization/Feeling meditation.

Sit comfortably with your back straight. Allow your mind to become quiet. Breathe deeply into your diaphragm. Try to keep your mind’s focus on your breath, at first. Take as long as you need to quiet the mind’s chatter. When you have found that place where it feels like floating in space – being nowhere, nothing; formless, ask yourself to feel the following:

  1. Abundance. What does it feel like to be abundant, to have all of your needs met, all the time? What might abundance look like in your life? Can you feel a sense of abundance not only in your mind but in your body?
  2. Fearless. Can you imagine – and feel the experience of being completely without fear – of having faith that you can achieve anything and Source/Spirit will have your back? What might you do or try that fear has held you from up to this point? Riding a motorcycle? Pursuing a new career or a newly single high school crush? Try to envision whatever it is fully, making it a sensory experience…. For me, cliff jumping is one of those experiences I can easily bring up to feel fearlessness – the adrenaline rush of looking down to the water far below and the weightlessness of space as I jump and begin falling. The cold water as it hits my feet then my whole body as I am submerged before swimming to the surface, exhilarated and refreshed….
  3. Limitless. This should feel similar to fearlessness but try to come into the feeling state of your own limitless ability. How would it change you if you could do anything, be anyone, think like a genius?
  4. Wealthy. What does this feel like to you? Can you envision having unlimited resources to go anywhere, do anything, help any number of people? Where would you go? What would you do? How would you be different than you are right now? Can you feel what it would be like to be truly wealthy – to have zero lack?
  5. Joy. Can you put yourself in the feeling state of bliss? Can you feel happy not only in your mind, but in every cell of your body? Can you feel joy in your heart?
  6. Perfect health. Try to feel vibrant health resonating in your entire body and mind.
  7. Relationship/love. What type of relationships do you most desire to create? What does having a wonderful relationship with and being deeply valued by a lover, spouse, partner, children, friends, family members – or your community – feel like? Can you see yourself in your ideal situation? What might it look like? Try to be as detailed as you can as you create possibilities in your mind, allowing yourself to feel the wonderful emotions of these relationships and scenarios. This is vitally important, which I will touch on shortly.
  8. Career/job. What would you be doing if you could do anything? Would you be a doctor, lawyer, corporate executive, spy, teacher, guru, or entrepreneur? What did you wish to be when you were a child? Can you feel into that state?

How did this meditation go? Did you get through all of these questions? Did you experience blocks or difficulty on any of them? Most of us have blocks In several of these areas. We are often trained from an early age by our parental figures to be limited or that we lack ability and value.

This is a false bill of goods and deeply unfortunate.  We will never create an ideal world as long as we continue to teach our children that they are flawed and limited.😤

The good news is, these blocks show you the first part of your roadmap to a better reality.  If you experienced a block when you asked yourself to be wealthy, or fearless, or have the relationship of your dreams, you know what programs need to be overlayed with new programs and patterns.  

Which takes us back to visualization and feeling the way that we want to be.  When we put our minds and bodies into a cohesive feeling state, we are not only creating greater health, but we are training ourselves to live in the future reality that we want to see rather than the past reality that has been holding us back.   

We are also creating a magnetic and vibrational field that resonates to those around us and the quantum field, where Source can most readily bring us those components that we need to create the reality of our dreams.  

If you experienced blocks in your ability to come into a feeling state from the exercise above, let’s go back and take each trait or emotion individually.  

When you are ready, find your comfortable seated position. Begin with the first question you experienced difficulty with. Let’s say it was relationship – a hard one for most of us. Likely because of their own issues, our parents taught us that we were not valuable.

As a result, often without even realizing it, we behave in ways that perpetuate this belief in our adult relationships: 

We don’t keep our word to those around us. 

We let ourselves and others down or don’t always behave with honesty and integrity.  

We speak to our loved ones in ways that are harmful.  

We may find ourselves drawn to cheating on our partners – though we don’t want our primary relationship to end.  

We shut down when it comes to communication.

And a host of other dysfunctional behaviors that keep us – and our loved ones -unhappy and perpetuating the belief that we lack value.

Ouch, right?🥵. 

But here’s where we can transform those dysfunctional past subconscious programs into something so much greater and begin building the life and personality/personal reality that we wish to see rather than hating the person that we think we are.  

Let’s say in our personal relationships we have a tendency to be short tempered and resentful, and our communication skills are lacking.  

From your place of meditation, visualize a loving relationship with a partner in which you sit across from them, holding hands as you easily talk about those issues in your relationship that need work.  Feel your heart center completely open, radiating light and warmth in this visualization.  

(In a post a couple of weeks back, I spoke of heart coherence. This visualization will create coherence in your heart and mind not only in this moment, but in future moments as you experience this in reality.).  

Feel the love and acceptance of your partner as you create a greater reality together.  Hold yourself in this space for as long as you are able.  The longer you are able to sustain coherence in meditation, the more you will experience it in everyday life.

Use this basic formula for each quality you wish to embody.   

This may feel difficult at first. Remember that you are overlaying programs that have been there for many years and it will not feel comfortable the first time or even the first few times you practice, but you will notice that the more often you practice this meditation and visualization, the easier it will become. 

From there, you will begin to see what may feel like miracles unfolding as these new neural networks draw into your reality exactly what you wish for.   

This seemingly miraculous creation of new realities is a combination of new neural wiring and firing causing a release of A)different chemical messengers into the brain and body, B)accessing new possibilities in the quantum field, and C) our RAS (remember the Reticular Activating System; the brain’s “reality filter”? Someone mentions a red Fiat and suddenly we see five red Fiats on the freeway that we wouldn’t have noticed before) beginning to allow us to observe and draw to us new aspects of our everyday reality that we wouldn’t have seen with our old wiring and programs. Amazing stuff, right?🤩

Wherever you are, beloved, I hope you will read this and be inspired to become a conscious creator and reality shaper rather than a victim of past neurological programming.  You deserve to be happy.  You deserve to be fulfilled.  You deserve to have your deepest desires and greatest wishes achieved.  I believe in you, and I love you, always. 💖

Formula for Creation Part I

Hello, Beautiful; 

The next few days I am going to take you through a series designed to give you the formula for changing your life for the better, from woe to WOW!, from being a victim of your environment to becoming a deliberate creator.   This formula is science-based and may be the most powerful thing I’ve ever written.  

So don’t scroll past.  

You can not create a positive life with a negative mind. 

Let me put this another way:  

You can not create the life of your dreams if you are living in survival mode.  

If you are experiencing anxiety, fear, frustration, anger or depression on a regular basis, you are in survival mode.  

In this lower frequency (14-40 Hz) Beta brain wave state, your brain is producing cortisol and adrenaline on the regular.  Your heart-brain coherence will be deregulated and your energetic resonance lower, which means you have less access to your energy reserves for brain and body use.  You also produce less energy in your magnetic field, what some call the aura.  

This is measurable and documented in thousands of studies.    

It’s not just a matter of damaging neuropeptides and chemicals, either.  

Your thoughts produce an electrical charge.  Your feelings produce a magnetic charge.  

The combination of these two charges create a resonance that you broadcast into the world at large – measurable in brain and heart monitors and “picked up” by those around us – as well as into the quantum field; that place where we best communicate with Source/God.  

So when we are in chronic stress, we are broadcasting messages of fear.  Of lack.  Of pain – instead of messages of love, faith, joy, and creation.  

And then we wonder why we stay in those same patterns and create the same circumstances over and over and over again; or we wonder why our prayers for a better life aren’t being heard.  

Our prayers are being answered.  We just don’t realize that our resonance isn’t asking the same thing that our mouth is.  

What’s interesting about this is that the Bible specifically says to “pray with thanksgiving”.  Gratitude is mentioned 71 times in the New Testament alone.  The Qur’an mentions gratitude numerous times and is considered a fundamental teaching of Islam.  Buddhist teachings are to cultivate gratitude as an attitude or habit.  

If we want better for ourselves, we need to be in a higher resonance or vibrational state before we start asking, and we need to stay in that state as we ask.  Gratitude is the perfect place to access that higher resonance. 

 If we can do this, miracles can begin to take place.

Three sentences

Hello, Beautiful;

I recently read a little quote that was so simple and yet succinct in its message that I wanted to share it with you: “Accept what is.  Let go of what was.  Believe in what will be. These three little sentences pretty much sum up the entire message of this and many other books written over the last few thousand years or so.  I believe we come to this plane of existence for three purposes. One, to learn to be a Creator. Scratch that. We are here to learn to be motherf#cking Sourcerers.  We were meant to be wizards; to remember our divinely- connected power to create our existence, for better or for worse. Second, to be of value and service to ourselves and others on this planet.  Third, to have the best possible time while doing it -to have fun, live joyously and enjoy every bliss soaked moment we are given here. But the only way to achieve any of that is to follow those three sentences.  

Accept and honor what is – but remember your ability to change your circumstance at any given moment.  One of my favorite quotes is that everything is either a lesson or a blessing.  So true, if we choose to view the trials we will inevitably experience in that way, and those lessons often turn out to be blessings in disguise!

Let go of what was –  If we are to fully experience the good that these three purposes bring us, the first thing we have to do – and have to continue to practice for as long as we are here – is to release and relinquish all that does not support forward progress.  This is so important I will say it again:  We must release and relinquish all that does not support our forward progress!  And the thing that we most often have difficulty relinquishing is our attachment to the past.  But here’s the thing – we can either allow that attachment to bind us – or help us through learning the valuable lessons they have provided and moving on.  Marie Kando wrote a wildly popular book entitled “The life-changing art of tidying up”.  I believe the reason this book was so highly regarded is that people who were exposed to the message – of letting go – recognized that that which we own often owns us, and there is a slavery in being bound by our possessions.  This message translates directly to the thoughts, memories, and emotions that we hold from the past, often going back to again and again, unable to release those negative feelings, which unfortunately turn into negative patterns of living.  

Trent Shelton, former NFL wide receiver current thought leader/speaker who reaches over 60 million people every week with his honest and engaging youtube videos often reminds us that “If you don’t own your past, your past will own you.”  Until we recognize that truth, we will continue to be slaves to those negative emotions and actions that are connected to our past; unable to move on to the ability to dictate and create our best possible reality that freedom from that slavery can bring us.  

Believe in what will be –  Faith is the foundation of creation.  Taking ownership of our existence and believing not just the possibility but the probability that everything we have dreamed of is within reach, and it is our responsibility on this planet to create the happiest, healthiest and most abundant reality we can – for ourselves and others.  

In the last month and a half, I have had the incredible blessing of purchasing outright a dream sportscar, traveled to Alaska, Charleston, South Carolina, and Scotland, and will be spending three weeks in Portugal from January through February.  The previous year, I spent nearly three months of the year traveling, my favorite trip being the two weeks my daughter and I spent between France and the UK with friends.  I am not a millionaire – yet – but I absolutely believe in my ability to co-create and manifest anything I put my mind to.   

So when I start feeling that itch to get out there and see new things, I remind myself of every glorious blessing currently in my life, then put my love of travel at the forefront of my awareness – so my ability to create the trips I wish for can unfold like cotton candy from a sugar spinner.  I use that analogy because the sweetness of creation feels just like that. Sugar goes into the drum, becomes heated and agitated, and begins spinning out as the delicious, light as air confection that we enjoy in the social, happy environment of fairs, carnivals and circuses. Likewise, when we have faith in our ability to shape our reality, our desires and positive thoughts go into our minds, are taken up by our RAS – (remember the Reticular Activating System, aka our awareness filter?) and the magic begins to unfold as we watch those desires spin into real things.  Like sportscars, amazing trips, dream homes and the ability to share your blessings with others.  

I don’t mention these blessings to brag, though it is incredibly exciting to see thoughts become things, but because I want you to see that you, also are a bountiful, abundant co-creator and director of Source; a capable creator of all that is good.  If I could have just one wish for today, it would be that you would know this to be true, for when your belief meets reality, you, also will understand and be amazed by your ability to create magic and fulfill your wishes and deepest desires.  

An added benefit to this knowledge is that this magic is not a “secret” to be hidden, but I know that when you become a Source-erer, you will be so excited that you will want to share your inspiration with others, as I have.  And maybe, just maybe, in another decade or two, that inspiration and creation will have been passed on to enough people that this whole world will be on fire with it, and just imagine the b place this will be. Can you see it?  I can, and believe me, gorgeous, it is sweeet!  I love you!
